You Can Keep Your Yellow Cars

     I have a thing about yellow cars. I don't like them. I can't help but associate them with taxis.

     Not that I have anything against cabs, it's just that when I see a yellow car it reminds me of them and I think, Eeww, why would anyone want a car the same color as a cab? I think it stems from living in New York City for all those years.

     My theory is that the farther away you live from the city, the more yellow cars you're apt to see on the road, because you have fewer people who think like I do.

     The funny thing is that ever since I mentioned this to my husband, all we see are yellow cars. He's been counting them, and turns out there are a LOT of them! Sometimes he sees 10 or 12 a day. Which is about 10 or 12 too many for my taste!
