i guess i'm saying we're both hussies! ;-) about the hairdo, it is rather dated, isn't it? i read somewhere that someone said she was attractive in a bob newhart show era suzanne pleshette kind of way, which is pretty much on target! anyway, i'm dying to hear her speak tonight.

I had to leave the room after the styrofoam column crack. She's just like all the rest of the bunch now! Must be cuz she let the hair down.

What I want to know is WTF is Cindy McCain thinking with that dress? Bright friggin' lime green with some sort of flowy thing happening in back?!

lol--cindy's dress!! i thought the same thing! i thought palin gave the speech very well, but i completely disagree with most everything she said, and the condescending tone and the sarcasm were really too much. guiliani's speech was even worse when it came to belittling obama. i think one of the most telling things about the whole convention so far is how fast and and how far they are running from any kind of association with president bush. they can do that when they control the situation, but they're not going to be able to do it so well when answering reporters' questions and in the debates.

Um, aren't you forgetting the most important thing and the oh so clever plan that the G.O.P. came up with to lure you away from the sexist Democrats?

It's nice to see that people with good political sense also have good musical taste. ;)

I have been impressed at how bad all the Republicans are at giving speeches. speaking of Giuliani. Somehow, I fell asleep last night with that racket on as K watched. Oh, wait, she was wearing headphones.

Does anyone besides me find it ironic that the vice president candidate for the same party that wants to drill in ANWAR thinks it's OK to wear a polar bear pin? Perhaps she's aiming to be the first to commemorate their demise?

wre--guiliani was making me sick to my stomach. i cannot stand him. as far as the irony of the polar bear pin and the anwar stance, it's really only the tip of the iceberg (no pun intended) of the hypocrisy and double standards she stands for. imho, of course!
