Can Anybody Tell Me This Band?

posted Friday, 20 July 2007

Yeah, I'm doing it again, asking you to help me figure out what song I've downloaded. I really ought to keep better track of things and honestly, I used to actually write it all down in a notebook, but these days, I can't even keep up with the important things in life, and since something had to give, I gave up on my list-making.

All that to ask whether anyone knows who this band is? The only info that came through on the ID tag was the songtitle "Flashing." I searched the hype machine but I couldn't find it. If you know and have any other other pertinent information, such as what album it's from, I would greatly appreciate knowing, and I thank you in advance.

"Flashing" mp3

**update** According to Alix, it's called "Walking in the Rain," and it's by Flash and the Pan from their self-titled album. She thinks it's kind of old, from the 70s or 80s. Many thanks for the information. I really appreciate it.

It's a really cool song, btw, and a very good tune to grocery shop to. Makes you slink around, grooving to the bass line and the ever so laid back, seen-it-all spoken delivery.

Have a great weekend. I'll tell you all about my festival experience ASAP. We're planning to meet up with Rick and his wife from are you embarrassed easily? Do you think that qualifies as a blogger convention?

**disclaimer**any music posted before June 1st will become unavailable as of July 24th, so you should grab what you want as soon as you can or forever hold your peace.

Hiya, the track is called Walking in the Rain by Flash and the Pan from their self-titled album. It's pretty old, like...late 70s early 80s I think?
