He's a faithful, gentle cat who never befriended anyone except me until he lost his hearing, because he was the ultimate scaredy cat. He ran from everyone and everything. But he never, ever hissed at me or scratched me (unless I was trying to get him into his cat carrier). He's been a good friend.
Oh Marcy, I am sorry. Even though twenty is a good, long life, it doesn't
make it any easier. My condolences...
thank you, fil. i dread doing it this time only because it's my third trip
in about 4 years. but i let the other two kitties linger on too long and
i'm not going to do that to udler, poor fella.
We know they will be better on the other side of the rainbow bridge, but it
doesn't do much for that painful lump in our hearts, does it? Having been
down this path a few times myself with all manner of non-human companions,
my kindest and gentlest thoughts are with you.
I hate to hear such news. Non-pet people sometimes pooh-pooh the loss of a
pet, but it's as deep as any other loss. I lost my dog of 15 years to
cancer a year and a half ago. I still think of her every day. But you are
doing the right thing by letting her go rather than prolonging the
suffering. Our thoughts and best wishes are with you during this tough
time.
my condolences. :)
so sorry about that. i know my dog's time is gonna come too.. sooner than i
guess probably. sometimes her eyes are very bad the other day the ears.
meds in every breakfest, lunch, dinner.
Hugs to you as you walk this road. I know it's going to hurt like hell.
Keep yourself soothed by music!

Aww, give him some extra Cat Chow for us. And throw in some catnip while
you're at it!!
Awww. I hope your kitty gets better. Or leaves peacefully. My condolences.
