Do you still get all excited on Friday thinking about the weekend? I don't particularly live for the weekends anymore, but I do enjoy my Friday afternoons.
However, Fridays in the Fall mean football games, which really means marching band events (don't tell anybody, but that's what the band parents call our high school football games). I love to watch the band out on the field. Last year my son was the only tuba player, so he was easy to pick out. This year there are four of them, which ought to sound great. Whenever he plays we love to shout, "More Tuba!" Our way of showing support.
I'm not really going anywhere with this. No real point to be made. Just wanted to say Happy Friday and enjoy the weekend. We're supposed to get heavy rain and wind from tropical storm (possible hurricane?) Hannah, but no real threat of danger. A good weekend to do nothing.

WOOT for Friday and Steely Dan! (Not afraid to fly my Steely Dan flag!)
no shame in flying that flag at all! hope you have a great weekend,
too--not too stormy.
Happy Friday right back at ya! Enjoy the weekend. (Cool tunes posted, too)
Oh, and btw...I recently purchased Whatever And Ever Amen after you
mentioned it as one of your desert isle picks. No kidding! I cannot get it
off my player. Can't believe I am so late to discover this gem. Thanks for
pointing me in the right direction!!
hey, better late than never for the ben folds five! i'm glad you like it.
there's so much packed into every song, it really deserves to be played
over and over. :)
I still pretty much live for Friday. Love that Steely Dan!
