This week the contrast podcast theme is Mysteries and Conspiracies. Spooky . . . . If you want to listen to it or download it, go here.
My pick for this week's podcast was Joni Mitchell's "Amelia" off her wonderful album Hejira. I figured I was being all cool because I thought not only did her plane go down and she was never found, but it happened over one of the most mysterious places on earth, the Bermuda Triangle. Well, Amelia Earhart disappeared, but not over the Bermuda Triangle like I thought she did. Boy am I dumb!

Next week's theme is Pop the Question, which means songs with questions in them. Wot? I don't understand. Can somebody explain that to me?
Haha. Don't worry about making mistakes during your Contrast intros. I've
only submitted a few times, but have either misinterpreted the theme or
stated some other "fact" that was completely false. I think it makes for
better podcasting, especially if it doesn't get caught by anyone else.
oh dear, no, i would never let a few factual errors keep me from
contributing to the podcast! but thank you. and of course now i will pay
extra special attention to your intros to see if i can tell when you're
making things up! ;-)
Facts - who needs them? Just turn on your TV to see all the facts in the
world sucked right out of existence! As far as next week's CP theme goes,
your comment makes me think of a short little Monty Python ditty "Do Wot
John?" - is that where you're headed? Surely that's too easy!! Cheers,
WRE
i think monty python might be an apparent choice for YOU, but not for me!
sounds like you've already got it figured out--hope you can find time to
contribute. :)
I finally got to listen to this one over the weekend. I think your version
of events is way more interesting :). Plus I loved the song.
