At the last minute, I was given tickets to see Debbie Harry and Kristoffer Ragnstam Friday night. I was excited, but my husband was thrilled. He's a huge Debbie Harry fan and he'd been after me to go see some bands that are more his type of music (that'd be in the classic rock/pre-'90s vein).
So this was a double goodie, because I was more than eager to see Kristoffer Ragnstam, a Swedish musician whose music I first heard over a year ago. He's got a very clever way with the interplay between the guitars and the rhythm section that sets him apart from most indie-pop rockers. Plus I love his voice.
Unfortunately, at the very last minute, we found out we couldn't go. I was bummed. But that won't stop me from sharing some of the music we might have heard.

Then check out Ragnstam's myspace for all the tour dates he's supporting her. He also has a new EP out called Do You Want a Piece of Me and you can buy it on itunes.
