Hello from San Diego
Hey, everybody, I'm out in sunny San Diego for a few days. I know, poor me! I thought I'd try to blog from here instead of preparing stuff in advance, except for the songs, of course. Haven't figured that part out yet. This is pretty cool, though. Last night I was sitting in the hotel lobby, drinking a glass of wine, and surfing the internets. I could stand to live like this for a while.
I woke up this morning with this Long Winters song drumming in my head, especially the chorus "I wanna be with you all the time." I had to listen to it twice to get it out of my brain.
Have you seen this? It's a pretty intense video of a Nine Inch Nails song set to vintage Star Trek footage of Kirk and Spock. It's actually a pretty kick-ass tune.
Here's a song that makes me think of California, although the hangover references probably won't apply until tomorrow morning.

OK, I'm off to shop and sight see and I'm not sure what else. Except to tell you the truth, it's not all that sunny this morning. Oh well. (And sorry for the weird appearance. I'm using my husband's laptop and the blog-city editor is acting all peculiar.)
