There's a new Cloud Cult album coming out and I have to say that the one track I've heard off it so far has got me excited. Much more excited that I was about The Meaning of 8, which came out about a year ago. I am probably one of their biggest fans, but that record just didn't do it for me.
Anyway, this song is big. It's orchestral and sweeping and plays up the emotional intensity that Craig Minowa always brings. Check it out. The album is called Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes), parentheses included.
Cloud Cult--"When Water Comes to Life" mp3 off Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes) (buy)
The physical CD comes out April 8th, but according to an email I got from the band, you can buy it digitally straight from their website as of yesterday. The band actually encourages you to buy it directly from them, as the profits will get to them sooner and help support them on tour.
Cloud Cult has been working hard thanks for the tips! :)
they put out an amazing amount of material. mad prolific, i think you'd
call it. :) i forgot to mention in the post that their drummer just quit,
which causes me a bit of concern, as he adds so much to their sound. it'll
be interesting to see how it affects their live show.
