I think it's time to update the old blog roll again, and I think it's appropriate to do it now, right before the New Year. I don't generally get too excited by New Year's, although the past few years we have had some neighborhood parties that involved lots and lots of drinking with ensuing karaoke singing. I do tend to go a little wild with a mike in my hand, so if you ever see me with one, watch out.
You may notice that I've removed a number of links. Part of it is because I'm suspect of those blog rolls that go on forever . . . I mean really, how can you possibly keep up with all those sites? My preference is to list folks that I read regularly, and I'm having a harder and harder time staying current with the ones I have. I'm trimming the fat here, so to speak. Of course, I'm adding a few, too, so in the end it all balances out.
Balance, let's aim for balance and calm this New Year, with a little bit of optimism and enthusiasm thrown in, what do you say? Sanguinity Now!
Say hello to
mentok the mind-taker, a really funny and original thinker from the wilds of Canada. He's not an mp3 blogger, although he occasionally submits songs to the contrast podcast. He's more of an issues/culture/ideas kind of guy who sometimes punctuates his posts with music.
I'm also adding
everybody cares, everybody understands, which is written by Chad. He's out of Seattle and has wonderful taste in music and an equally good outlook on life in general.
I've taken off: firebird man, rainbow puke, work for it, rewriteable content, so much silence, music for kids who can't read good, and you can call me betty (Simon has ended his blog but is continuing with you can call me betty podcasts, which you can
subscribe to here.)
So that's it for now. I think that may be it until next year, as I am bushed. I really hope and pray that 2007 is less stressful than 2006, for me
and for you.
