I think when I'm old and senile, I'll be one of those people who will still remember songs, so if you want to communicate with me then, you'll have to sing to me instead of talking.
I say this because I find I have a really good musical memory but not such a good verbal one. I can remember exactly how long to hold a note and the inflection I should use when I'm singing but half the time I can't remember what I just said in a conversation. They both involve sound but there's something about associating words with music that sticks with me much better. Just a little something to keep in mind . . . .
