Yep, it's Tuesday, and we all know what that means. The contrast podcast is up and this week the theme is "Your Deepest Fear." Yikes. This ought to be interesting and somewhat revealing, don't you think? Perhaps we'll get an inside look at the psyches of some of the contributors. I'm just a wee bit scared of what we might find out . . .
Oh, not really. I will enjoy finding out what other people are afraid of, though, just to see how I stack up.
You know, at first I didn't think I had any deep fears. At least, nothing jumped out right away. Which surprised me, because I am quite an accomplished worrier and in the past have been known to fear many, many things. After I thought about it a little though, I came up with a few things that I am afraid of. The usual, actually. Cancer, Alzheimer's, something bad happening to my children or husband, car accidents, plane crashes, dying in general, and let's not forget snakes. I really hate snakes.
Nothing particularly freaky or revelatory, though. And thank god for that, right?

If you want to listen to or download the podcast, go here. Next week's theme, "Envy," is another in the podcast's examination of the seven deadly sins, so instead of being envious of all the fun we have doing the podcast, why not join in and save yourself a sin?
