We went out to dinner last night and I saw this woman and I knew I knew her, but for the life of me I couldn't place her. If I'd actually run into her I would have asked, but I saw her from across the room, so it would have been awkward to interrupt her.
That kind of stuff really bugs me, though. I wrack my brain trying to figure it out and usually I can, but not this time. Argh.

So that picture is supposed to represent my brain struggling to remember how I knew this woman. The stuff is bubbling sulphur found in mud pools in Rotorua, New Zealand. Freaky, isn't it? I found it here.
There are "mud pots" in Yellowstone NP that are like the picture you
showed, and they definitely stink as well.
i like that, pro-active against the impending senility! the craziest thing
was i could practically hear the woman's voice in my head, like i knew we'd
had conversations about something. i'll probably never figure it out!
i could not for the life of me figure out what that picture was... pretty
freaking awesome indeed.
yeah, i thought it was a painting when i first saw it. you gotta love
google image search!
I hate when that happens, especially when the person says hi!
i know! it's like there's this empty space in your brain and nothing to
grasp onto!
I get really embarassed when that happens to me. And it happens a lot.....
I hate when that happens, and you just reminded me I have to look up the
name of an actress I saw in a DVD last night so I can figure out where I've
seen her before. It's a family obsession.
