"I Got Nothing."

posted Sunday, 12 October 2008

"I got nothing." I love it when Jon Stewart says that. But seriously, I've got nothing to say today, maybe even tomorrow.

Sometimes I'm overflowing with thoughts for the blog and I can't keep up with myself, but right now I'm dry. Empty. Without an original idea. I couldn't even come up with a song for the next contrast podcast, that's how bad it is.

I am listening to a ton of music. I re-upped my emusic membership and it gave me 75 free downloads, so I've gone a little crazy with the downloading, but until I fully digest what I've picked up I can't write about it. Not in good conscience, anyway.

Maybe I'm one of the people Jon Stewart and John Oliver discuss in this clip from the Daily Show. It's one of the funniest bits I've seen in a while.

My posts have been pretty short on the detail lately too. Sometimes after a full day it's hard to be inspired isn't it? I haven't been able to download much during the last week either because I've been house-sitting so my well of material is running pretty dry too. It'll pick up though, just ride it out!

I reckon your cup runneth over with love. (Unlike Ringo Starr's - did you see his address to the world today? Silly old sod). An abundance of inspirational desire is just around the corner I'm sure.
