Yeah, can you believe it? Today is the one-year anniversary of lost in your inbox. I feel like I should do some sort of extravagant post to celebrate, but I can't decide what to say about it, other than I can't believe how much I'm still enjoying doing this. It means so much to me to be able to write about music and talk about life and other stuff with all of you. When I think about where I was a year ago, I can see how far I've come. Not only in terms of this blog, music and friendships, but also personally. I mean, a year ago, things were pretty bleak around here. I know I've said this before, but starting this blog really saved my sanity. So thank you all for sticking with me through all the ups and downs and bringing so much of yourselves to share with me.
oh let me marry your daughter, i don't care about her age. haha.
i LOVE modestmouse. since... ever. and i can't wait for the new album (
yes, i preorderd. of course. )
The Blue Nile's Hats is easily one of the greatest studio records of all
time. Great selection.
Congratulations marcy!
Dearest Marcy, Happy Anniversary! I look forward to the online
negotiations between you and Pik over your daughter's dowry...
pik--you are too funny. thanks for all the happy goody-moody thoughts, i
can really use them today. and i totally agree--johnny marr is a fantastic
addition to the band. : )
Now the trick is to get Pik to pay you a bride price, rather than have to
pay him a dowry. I recommend that you settle for nothing less than six
cows, 25 kilos of the finest Swiss chocolate, and 100 CDs of your
choosing...
Yay! for You! You were one of my original inspirations! So thank ou for a
great year!
Cheers to you Marcy! I can't imagine the blog-o-sphere with out you and
"Lost In Your Inbox" and I don't want to get all girlie or anything but it
has been quite a delight and I really value your friendship.
Here's to you!
fil :) sorry, i'm vegan :) means : i pay hundred kilos of carrots, 50
melons, and you can have a bath in soy milk ;) hoho.
pik/fil--i'll take the melons and carrots, but the chocolate is a deal
breaker! ;-)
Belated greetings and congratulations Marcy! As you know I just went
through the one-year-blogging thing as well... (though via 3 different
blogs now!).
colin--it's never too late, remember that. thanks so much, for everything.
it's been a rocky year in a lot of ways, but at times a really good one,
too. so here's hoping the good outweighs the bad in the coming year. : )
Happy Birthday from Switzerland... better late than never! ;)
Like the new look, btw.!
thanks chris, for the "birthday" wishes and on the new look. it's not quite
like i want it yet, but it's getting there. : )
