I seem to fall back on a few regular themes here on the blog, one of them being my coffee consumption! Oh well, whatever it takes, am I right?
The inspiration for this post comes from a carton of half 'n half. Everyone knows that putting a little half 'n half in your coffee makes it absolutely delicious, the problem being that it adds fat and calories and probably clogs up your arteries. I always use it when I'm out and even at work but until now I've resisted using it at home. Well, not any longer.
Yep, I broke down and bought myself some and now I'm enjoying an extra-tasty something that only that much milk-fat can bring. Yum. Live it up where you can, people, coz it's the little things that bring real pleasure.

So true! Enjoy the half & half while you can.
Oh, and Crash Test Dummies got old, but this song never does. "Some day
I'll have a disappearing hairline" cracks me up every time. I wonder if he
has one these days? ;)
Not to rant on your blog but the whole obsession with fat really gets to
me. Drinking an entire carton of half-and-half every day would probably be
harmful, but I find it impossible to believe that a small amount in your
coffee, given all the other toxins around us everyday, is going to do you
in. So good for you, enjoy it!!!!!
nat--i've never understood how half 'n half can be fat free--it seems like
an oxymoron! but good for you for taking that two mile walk to dunkin'
donuts. that definitely makes up for it!
Ah, gals, I'm enjoying all this coffee talk! Half and half, caramel lattes,
even the Carnation stuff...I love it all. My afternoon routine is a cup of
coffee with skim milk frothed in one of those 'Cafe Froth' gizmos (The skim
whips into a thick, creamy topping better even than using whole milk). A
dusting of cinnamon on top...yum. But, the rest of the pot of coffee gets
the half and half!
wow, and i thought i was living it up! you gals know how to coffee! i'm ok
with my caffeine addition because there are so many worse things to be
addicted to, you know? and i've got it under control . . . i'm not saying i
could actually quit, mind you, but i'm still able to limit it to two cups a
day. any more than that and i might be verging on a problem!
