A Good Run!

Wow, I had a great run today. Actually reached a goal I've been working toward for some time. My goal has been to run 4 miles (on the treadmill) in under 42:00, and today I did it in 41:56. Yay! Now I'm riding an endorphin high and feel like I can accomplish good things. Or at least one good thing!

The Decemberists--"The Sporting Life" mp3 off Picaresque (buy) Anybody catch them on Conan the other night? I liked the song--don't know the name of it though. Colin looked cute, although I think I like his hair better when it's a little shorter.
Did no one know the movie I was referencing the other day with my quote, "it just doesn't matter!"? A Bill Murray classic? Some of you must be old enough to remember, come on! And do you think I could use any more exclamation points in one post? No!

Hey! You gotta give me some more to work with on the Bill Murray. If you
quoted anything from Monty Python, Star Trek, Star Wars, or Raiders of the
Lost Ark in particular, I'd be fine. Bill Murray's not my strong suit.

sorry, can't help you on any of those other films. : ) but perhaps you
recall the character spazz in the movie meatballs, and he's nervous doing
his event during the camp wars, and they're all cheering him on, chanting
louder and louder, "it just doesn't matter! it just doesn't matter!" that's
what i'm referring to. it's just one of those bits that got stuck in my
consciousness and pops out at odd times. a comedy touchstone, if you will.
ha!
