Who am I kidding? I'm no baseball fan. The only reason I'm even aware of the major league baseball playoffs is because the Cleveland Indians are in them and I grew up outside of Cleveland. But what the hell, that's reason enough, isn't it?

I did time in Ohio, too, both as a child and as an adult (lived in
Hamilton, OH during the late 60's and Columbus in the 80's to attend Ohio
State.) I was a staunch Reds fan for most of my life, that is, until we
moved close to Boston in 2000. I am now a HUGE Sox fan. I know it would
be cool for the Indians to win, but I am still going to have to pull for
the Red Sox! But if the Indians pull it off, at least it won't irk me like
it would if the Yankees won.
i kinda figured you'd be a sox fan. : ) my brother is also a r.s. fan. he's
completely forsaken his roots. of course, it helps that the new england
teams are winners and that the cleveland teams are um, what you might call
perpetual losers. ;-) i like that lerche song, too. very jazzy.
