I seem to have fallen into the habit of posting new music on Fridays, so I figure I should go with it.
Last year I was obsessed with Colour Revolt's song "Mattresses Underwater," a searing, intense, and masterful track. Well, their new album, Plunder, Beg and Curse is coming out April 1 and this is the promo track from it. I hear a lot of the same intensity as there is on MU, and it captures the fire and angst that I so loved about their last EP. It also sounds a little darker, if that's possible, likely because of the bass line and opening riffs. I like it!

Perhaps you should listen this so you can compare and contrast.

A little aside: when I was in school, I don't recall ever enjoying the "compare and contrast" writing assignments that teachers used to hand out left and right, but nowadays, I love it! I bet if I were a teacher, I'd assign that kind of paper all the time. Ha!
I like that Mattresses Underwater track indeed.
And on the aside: I remember those papers...I also was never thrilled to
receive them but then again I was never thrilled to receive anything. :-)
Of course now it all doesn't seem so bad...
yeah, school is wasted on the young! i think i'd get a lot more out of it
now than i did then. :)
awww i love colour revolt, those lyrics to mattresses underwater. that
intensity that you write about... they have that and i love it :)
