Eclecticism Personified

posted Sunday, 16 December 2007

Someone (that would be Juan) mentioned in the comments of another post that my music selections have been rather eclectic lately. Looking back over the past weeks' worth or so of posts, I'd have to agree. I mean, the entry titles themselves veer wildly between sweet and simple to downright filthy!

There's not much of a point here, other than I think Juan is right. My musical tastes and my blogging topics are all over the place these days. No telling what I might write about next, which I guess is kind of exciting when you think about it--or off-putting if you're not cool with constant change. But I sort of doubt you'd be reading this if you minded, am I right?

In case you need further examples, check out this eclectic selection of tunes.

Brian Grosz--"Someone's Gonna Swing" mp3 off Bedlam Nights (buy

The Specimen--"Wish It Would Snow" mp3 off Christmas Single (buy

Twilight Hotel--"Viva la Vinyl" mp3 off Highway Prayer (buy--it's coming out next month)

The Illness Project--"Dance Outro (Live)" mp3 (buy--the studio version is on The Illness Project)

WOW! i am famous now. Are these all from your music library? All we are missing is some Liberace and you would have broken the eclectic barrier. Much like the sound barrier but a lot less noisy... I've got say "The Illness Project" fit my current state of mind the best. :)

yes, you were my inspiration--bask in all the glory, coz it won't last long! ;-) i like the illness project myself. most of these i got as promos, i confess, so it wasn't difficult to find an array of musical stylings.

all mp3s are for sampling purposes only. you like it? you buy it. you want me to take it down? let me know. and for the uninitiated, if you wish to listen to a song, click on the little blue arrows and they will stream. thanks, your host and music lover, mjrc.
