There are two posts of mine that get hits just about every day and I'm quite sure the folks who reach them are very disappointed when they read them.
The first is one that comes via any number of variations of the search term "fucking party." It leads them to a post I called "Bloody Great Big Fucking Party," which is from Nov. 2006 and refers to how happy I was that the severely conservative Republican Senator from my state at the time, Rick Santorum, had been defeated. BGBFP is the name of the song in the post, which I recently featured here but was wise enough not to put in the title!
Anyway, I always feel sorry for the people who end up there because they must be sorely disappointed in what they find, you know what I mean?
The other most-oft-searched-for item is "top country songs," which, as you know, you are certainly not apt to find here. But a long time ago I did a spoof post on them, called, naturally, "Top 12 Country Songs of 2006." So lots of people end up there, as well, and are equally let down by what they find.
What can I say, in reality you never know what you'll find when you come here, so maybe I'm disappointing a lot more people than I realize. Or maybe not--hopefully some of you like surprises!

sad pie from here
you gotta love google image searches! the blog is all about pies, btw.
there are freaking blogs about everything!!
I think there's something wrong with me. When I read the title of this post
all I could think of was James Blunt.
I quite like country music, but I think we can agree on Santorum. Did you
ever hear what Dan Savage did with the name "Santorum"?
agnes--there are no judgments here, all musical points of reference are
accepted . . . ;-)
Ha! That is hilarious! Once they hit your blog, hopefully they will find
something that's worth their time and change their minds from looking up
dirty or ridiculous things. :)
