Do You Suffer From Long-Term Memory Loss?
Is that a blast from the past or what? I first heard "How Bizarre" on a trip to Nova Scotia, of all places. I'll always associate it with Cape Breton Island, sitting in construction traffic and camping in the rain. What do you think of and remember when you hear it? And don't give me any excuses like, I don't know that song, coz if you were alive 10 years ago, you HEARD that song (unless, of course, you actually do suffer from long-term memory loss, in which case you may be excused).

It took some doing, but I was finally able to track down a copy of How Bizarre, for which I am ever so grateful.
How Bizarre is one of my all time favourites. I can't remember the name of
the place now, but the 'O' in OMC is the name of an area of Wellington (?)
in New Zealand where 'OMC' is from. A tough area apparently. The M and C
are for 'Music Club'. I have a spoof version called 'Stole My Car', which
is excellent too.
you're right--it's otara, a section of auckland, and it is rough (according
to wikipedia, that is). i'd love to hear that spoof, btw!

O is for a South Auckland suburb called 'Otara' which is infamous for its
high Maori and Polynesian population and crime. M and C refer to
'Millionaires' Club' of which the band were the only members also added a
bit of irony due to the level of poverty in the area.
