Did You See the Moon?
Did you see the moon Friday night? It was the biggest, brightest full moon of the year. It was low in the sky as I was driving home from work and it was marvelously radiant. Kind of like how you'd picture it in The Night Before Christmas when it says: "the moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow gave the luster of mid-day to objects below."

It was gorgeous and kind of orangey-yellow when it first appeared. Last
night it was awesome, too.
my vacation rental this month includes a view of the san jose valley in
costa rica, from the escazu mountain side. it was an entire new story with
this moon in the background!
I saw it at 2AM. it was AMAZING.
nat--i saw it last night, too. it was kind of spooky, so big and orange and
low in the sky like that. i always wonder what the early peoples thought
when they saw things like that.
Even although it was cloudy on Friday night, I managed to catch sight of
the full moon during a flight from Cardiff to Edinburgh - lovely.
that sounds so romantic. i think i need to get away--costa rica, cardiff,
the moon--anywhere! : )
