Beat Radio Official Album Release and Party

    Beat Radio, one of my favorite bands of 2006, are officially releasing their album The Great Big Sea, which will also feature a 4-song bonus EP called Miracle Flag. They're going to whoop it up Sat. Aug. 11th at 8 p.m. at Union Hall in Park Slope, Brooklyn, so go on out and support them if you can. They'll be joined by The Bloodsugars, who're also from Brooklyn. I swear there weren't this many great bands around back when I lived in Park Slope.
