I made it up--and perhaps more importantly--DOWN the mountain! Unfortunately I don't have the energy to tell you all about it just yet, but I wanted to report that I'm back home and more or less in one piece. One very sore piece!

Hooray! Yes, the down part is very important. Welcome back!
Glad to have you back!
fil--down was harder than up, if you can believe that! i'm glad to be back
on flat ground. :)
Congratulations! It most certainly IS harder down than up. I believe it
was a month or so after descending from Half Dome to the valley floor that
I was able to get back on even an elliptical trainer, but I bet you're in
better shape now than I was then. How many toenails do you think you'll
lose? :)
i didn't trod any trails, mountain or otherwise, but I did walk most of
this city, including the vast zoo and Sea World. We come back home
tonight. *sigh*
wre--my toenails are doing just fine--it's my actual toe that i'm worried
about! not that i'll lose it, but it's still swollen. jay went for a hike
today at white clay creek, but i haven't had the desire yet. i *might* ride
my bike tomorrow, weather (and quadriceps) permitting. :)
